Your outdoor lighting is backed by some of the strongest guarantees in the industry.
Lifetime Limited Warranty on Transformers and Brass & Copper LED Fixtures:
All transformers and brass and/or copper LED fixtures installed by an authorized Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Franchisee are covered for the life of the product with the original owner. This limited lifetime warranty does not cover lightning strikes, acts of God, any problems caused by home electrical issues or service calls to reset circuit breakers or GFCIs. If anyone other than qualified Outdoor Lighting Perspectives personnel accesses the transformers for any reason other than timer adjustment, this warranty is void. Any additional fixtures that are added to the transformers that may cause the transformer to overload will void the warranty. Patina finishes of the LED fixtures will vary naturally over time, and no warranty is provided for that finish.
Twenty-Year Limited Warranty of All LEDs and Electronics:
Limited warranty of 20 years from the date of original purchase, covering repair or replacement of defective LEDs and their electronics for the original owner.
Ten-Year Limited Warranty on Low-Voltage Brass and/or Copper Fixtures and Well Lights:
All proprietary brass and/or copper fixtures and well-light fixtures that include internal components installed by an authorized Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Franchisee (excludes bulb and quick connect) are covered by this warranty with the original owner for 10 years from the date of original retail purchase. Any fixtures damaged by the homeowner or a third party will not be covered by warranty. This warranty does not cover lightning strikes, acts of God or any problems caused by home electrical issues. Note: All other fixtures that include internal components installed by an Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Franchisee will be covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty.
Low-voltage wire: The warranty does not cover wire mistakenly cut by the property owner or other vendors or an electrical shortage to the line as a result of anything being driven, stapled or manipulated into the wire lines. This warranty does not cover lightning, acts of God or any problems caused by home electrical issues.
Lens covers installed by Outdoor Lighting Perspectives: The warranty does not cover lost or stolen lens covers or scratches. Plastic lens covers that have been covered in mulch or other debris resulting in melting are not covered by this warranty.
Five-Year Limited Warranty on Quick Connections and Aluminum LED Standard Powder-Coated Fixtures:
Quick connections and aluminum LED standard powder-coated fixtures installed by Outdoor Lighting Perspectives are covered by this warranty for the original owner for defects requiring repair or replacement for 5 years from the date of original retail purchase. The warranty does not cover lightning strikes, acts of God, electrical issues or homeowner/third-party tampering.
Two-Year Limited Warranty on Lighting Automation Controls, Modules and Timers:
All Lighting Control Automation controls, modules and timers are covered by this warranty for the original owner for 2 years from the date of original retail purchase. The warranty does not cover lightning strikes, acts of God or any problems caused by home electrical issues.
One-Year Limited Warranty on All Bulbs:
All outdoor lighting bulbs installed by Outdoor Lighting Perspectives are warranted for the original owner for 1 year from the date of original purchase with normal use (dusk to midnight). Bulbs operated from dusk to dawn are warranted for 6 months. The bulb warranty applies only when replacement service is performed by qualified Outdoor Lighting Perspectives personnel. If anyone else services the system or replaces the bulbs, no bulb warranty will be in effect from Outdoor Lighting Perspectives, and you may void your system warranty as well. Use of incorrect bulbs can lead to system failures, including fixture damage. Service calls due to problems associated with bulb replacements made by someone other than Outdoor Lighting Perspectives personnel will incur a service fee.
One-Year Limited Warranty on All Digital Timers and Photo Cells:
All digital timers and photo cells are covered by this warranty for the original owner for 1 year from the date of original retail purchase. The warranty does not cover lightning strikes, acts of God or any problems caused by home electrical issues.
Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Limited Warranty Statement
The above warranties are effective for products purchased after August 1, 2009. Outdoor Lighting Perspectives warrants to the original end-user customer of its products specified above that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship. Repaired parts or replacement products will be provided by the local Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Franchisee on an exchange basis, and they will be either new or refurbished to be functionally equivalent to new. Purchaser must present acceptable proof of original ownership (such as original receipt or other documentation Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Franchisee deems acceptable).
This limited warranty covers only repair or replacement for defective Outdoor Lighting Perspectives products, as provided above. Outdoor Lighting Perspectives is not liable for, and does not cover under warranty, any costs associated with determining the source of the system problems. These costs shall be borne solely by the purchaser.
Please retain the dated sales invoice as evidence of the original purchaser’s date of purchase. You will need it for any warranty service. To keep this limited warranty in effect, the product must have been handled and serviced only by a certified Outdoor Lighting Perspectives technician. This limited warranty does not cover any damage due to accident, misuse, abuse or negligence. This limited warranty is non-transferable and does not apply to any purchaser who bought the product from a reseller, distributor or non-authorized Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Franchisee, including but not limited to purchases from Internet auction sites. This warranty does not affect any other legal rights you may have by operation of law.
