REPORTS TO:  Franchise Owner

PRIORITIES

SUMMARY Primarily responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external Outdoor Lighting Perspectives customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company selling process, products and programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED TO MEET BUSINESS NEEDS

  • Provide administrative support in lead generation, customer loyalty, accounting, daily office procedures, etc.
  • Provide the essential "first contact" for our future customers (qualifying, organizing, and implementing our sales and service process)
  • Answer all incoming sales, service, and vendor, etc. phone calls
  • Coordinate the installation and service department
  • Maintain databases such as Contact Management System, Access, etc.
  • Manage customer mailings
  • Manage calendar of events
  • Responsible for incoming mail
  • Update and manage various reports and programs (sales, phone, loyalty, etc.)
  • Order inventory and supplies

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Ability to organize and arrange multiple priorities in a timely fashion
  • Exposure to customized Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Problem solver
  • Systematic in their approach

EDUCATION • TRAINING • EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ideal candidate should have varied computer experience

REPORTS TO:  Franchise Owner

SUMMARY Designing, demonstrating and selling low voltage lighting systems primarily during the evening hours. All sales leads are pre-qualified before a sales appointment is set. The expectations for closing rates are 65 - 75%.

REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED TO MEET BUSINESS NEEDS

  • Conducting on site lighting demonstrations at the customers residence that take roughly 90 minutes each
  • Understanding and recognizing the value in the product and process that you are selling to the homeowner
  • Sitting down with the customer in their home to discuss our sales process; providing an overview of the company, re-qualifying the customer's needs and investment range, and setting up lighting design with a demonstration kit
  • Preparing a proposal for the design demonstrated and closing the sale
  • Re-visiting the customer within 3 days of install to perform a night time adjustment to ensure they're satisfied or to recommend additional lighting
  • Ability to conduct night time demonstrations at least 2-3 nights per week, including Fridays if necessary
  • Have a driver license with clean driving record (no moving violations or accidents in the last three years)
  • Owning a neat and clean vehicle that can be used for sales calls and to carry a demonstration kit (must accommodate at least 2-4 large storage bins)

SUMMARY Installation of low voltage outdoor lighting systems generally in residential settings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED TO MEET BUSINESS NEEDS

  • Assembling lights and mounting them in prescribed locations
  • Speaking with the customer to up-sell other products
  • Provide customer with system orientation as applicable
  • Proper care and operation of company vehicles
  • Ensuring there are proper inventory levels
  • Running and burying low voltage wiring in landscape areas and lawns
  • Mounting transformers and connecting wire runs
  • Clean up of all areas affected by installation
  • Providing direction and/or assistance to other installers when applicable
  • Speaking with clients to inform and educate them about additional products and services available

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Has a driver license with clean driving record (no moving violations or accidents in the last three years)
  • Makes a good first impression by being well groomed, articulate, personable, and comfortable with meeting new people
