Kenny Kaufman, Owner of Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Columbia

Kenny began his career as a day laborer in Augusta, GA franchise for another Outdoor Lighting Perspectives franchise while also serving in the military as an Army Reserves Medic. When Kenny was 19 years old he became an Operations Manager. By 23, through hard work and determination, he made his dream come true and being a local business owner! He purchased his first franchise, Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Columbia, and has been expanding ever since. Kenny handles the day-to-day management of the business, including marketing, sales, building trade alliances, providing skilled labor, and managing 20 employees across his multiple businesses. Kenny enjoys being involved with his businesses and loves a challenge and getting his hands dirty.

In his spare time Kenny loves mentoring other young entrepreneurs and serving on the board for the Columbia Executives and Owners Association, the franchise advisory Council for Outdoor Lighting Perspectives, and the Customer service council for Mosquito Squad.

Married to his high school sweetheart for the past 16 years, Kenny loves spending is free time with his wife, Melissa, their two golden retrievers, and his nieces. Kenny also loves travelling, boating on Lake Murray, and playing golf.
