After more than 20 years in sales, working in both the textile and medical device industries, I’ve learned that success is built on trust, loyalty, and doing exactly what you say you’re going to do. Throughout my career, I’ve made customer service and genuine relationship-building my top priorities—values that now guide everything we do at Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of the Panhandle.
I grew up in South Georgia and spent every summer vacationing along Florida’s Emerald Coast. Those early visits turned into a lifelong love for the area—one I’m now fortunate to share with my wife, Hollie, and our two boys, Hampton and Hayes. After speaking with friends who call the Panhandle home, I saw an opportunity for a premier outdoor lighting company that focuses solely on lighting—creating beauty, safety, and ambiance for homes and businesses. Partnering with home and business owners to design a lighting plan that adds value, joy, and comfort to their space, is a passion that I could not pass up the opportunity to be a part of.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me at the beach, out on the water, playing golf, or cheering on Auburn in all sports, War Eagle!
Bobby grew up in Cartersville, GA and attended college at Georgia Southern University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. After college, he worked for a residential builder, building custom homes in the Marietta, GA area. In 2007, he went to work for Brasfield & Gorrie in the commercial construction industry. In 2011, he and Angela moved back to Columbus, GA, where Angela was from, to work in the Brasfield & Gorrie local office. He fell in love with all Columbus has to offer, including the community and architecture. In 2014, he and Angela left their full-time careers and purchased the Jan-Pro Franchise Development territory. Over the last 10 years, Bobby and Angela have led a team of office personnel, as well as independent cleaning teams, servicing over 500 customers in the Columbus, Central GA & Auburn markets. This experience has been invaluable for providing Bobby with customer service skills to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
In 2024, Bobby set his sights on a new goal—expanding into another business opportunity. After much research, he discovered Outdoor Lighting Perspectives and immediately fell in love with the design aspect, customer interactions, and helping clients enhance their properties through landscape lighting. Around that same time, Bobby was also looking to start a new adventure at the beach and decided to partner with Wesley and Joe Cope to bring their shared vision to life. Together, they are excited to combine their talents and build something special along the coast.
When Bobby is not working, he loves spending time with his family. He is a head coach for his son’s coach pitch baseball team and involved in several community organizations. When he is not busy, Bobby really enjoys traveling, hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
