This cherished Nashville holiday tree lighting honor, bestowed on us by Governor Bill Lee and First Lay Marie Lee, is without a doubt our most joyous part of the holiday season.
As in years past, we invite you to come and witness this dazzling display of outdoor holiday lights in all its splendor as Christmas at the Capitol is a free public event.

It starts Monday at 5:30 in the evening with a tree lighting ceremony, refreshments and musical performances from the 129th Army Band jazz ensemble and the Belmont University BSA gospel choir.
The majestic, fragrant Norway spruce was donated by Thomas and Patricia Washer of Murfreesboro, for which we are all grateful.
