Lance Gordon - Owner, Head of Landscape Lighting Design
Having the opportunity to help residential and commercial clients have access to the industry leading landscape lighting expertise OLP has succeeded with establishing across the United States for over 25 years was the primary motivational factor why Lance chose to bring OLP to the Bay Area in 2020. Bay area residents now have access to the most skilled, creative, and innovative outdoor lighting resources and expertise available in the outdoor landscape lighting industry.
Lance’s talent for lighting design combined with a deep sense of professionalism and entrepreneurship have resulted in over 250 residential and commercial property owners becoming OLP clients throughout the Bay Area.
Lance graduated Northeastern University in Boston with a degree in Business Administration (marketing major). He was a full scholarship student athlete at Northeastern where he was a four year starter on the football team. He has 25+ years in sales, sales management, business development and executive experience in the technology and financial services industries.
Lance and his wife celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary September 2024. Their oldest son is a graduate of Virginia Tech (College of Engineering). Their middle son is a graduate of the University of Arizona (Health Sciences) spring of 2023 and their daughter is currently a senior at the University of California - Berkeley (College of Letter and Sciences).
Lance is a former member of the National Advisory Board for the non-profit organization Positive Coaching Alliance as well as a former Advisory Council member for the Cybersecurity for Executives program at California State University - Chico.
Lance is a cancer survivor, enjoys riding his motorcycle as often as possible on the Pacific Coast Highway and loves to play poker.
