We select low-voltage LED fixtures based on color temperature and beam spread so the light complements exterior materials rather than washing them out. Brick reads as brick. Stone holds its texture. Paint colors stay accurate.

Common techniques include uplighting, which directs light upward along a wall or column; grazing, which positions a fixture close to a surface to draw out texture through shadow; and shadowing, which places light in front of a feature to project its silhouette onto a background surface. Fixture placement also accounts for glare, avoiding direct lines of sight toward windows, neighboring properties, and the street.
