Richmond Landscape Lighting and Richmond Pathway Lighting Now Shining In The Most Desirable Neighborhoods
1. Scott’s Addition: As they say, better late than never. All of a sudden, Scott’s Addition is one of Richmond’s fastest-growing neighborhoods. The word “addition” refers to an addition to the city grid, as in, land that was formerly owned by Major General Winfield Scott, a hero of the War of 1812 and the Mexican War, that was annexed to the city of Richmond. Now, this historic district is known for its vast abundance of breweries, restaurants, and distilleries. It also provides convenient access to Interstates 64, 95, 195 and the Powhite Parkway. Though Scott’s Addition is home to a diverse mix of businesses including film studios, marketing companies, advertising groups and architectural firms, there are a number of historic houses and apartments with a thriving neighborhood association led by residents and business owners who work to preserve the history of the area while making sure it has a strong future. And yes, those stunning beams of energy-efficient low voltage lighting you’re seeing there are custom landscape lighting by us.
2. Lakeside: Located in Henrico Country, Lakeside is a great place for families. A suburb of Richmond located north of the city, Lakeside is named after an actual body of water, though that lake is now found at the Jefferson Lakeside Country Club. Bordered by Joseph Bryan Park and the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, this neighborhood has tree-lined streets and offers plenty of chances to commune with nature, even though the city center is only minutes away by car. Many of the homes there are highlighted and protected each evening with our curb appeal outdoor lighting.
3. Short Pump: Here’s another booming area that was virtually non-existent several years ago. This affluent suburb is home to some of Richmond’s most significant corporate employers, including the world headquarters for Outdoor Lighting Perspectives. With a diverse mix of newer housing options, Short Pump has plenty for residents to do there, with shopping and dining options at West Broad Village, Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods. At the the popular Short Pump Town Center, an open-air mall with upscale department stores and boutiques is enjoyed by Richmonders near and far. And yes, you will be guided safely and beautifully into many of the surrounding landscapes and gardens with our exquisite pathway lighting. It’s just gorgeous, isn’t it?
4. Chimborazo: With variety being the spice of life, you’ll appreciate the coolest neighborhood name we’ve run across so far in Richmond – and that’s saying a heck of a lot. It boasts rich history, a scenic view of the James River, and the historic architecture of yesteryear when the neighborhood established at the beginning of the 20th century. This district has Civil War ties and used to have an electric trolley line running through it. As for the multitude of historic renovations going on there, you’re sure to spot both our residential outdoor lighting and commercial business outdoor lighting after dusk.
