Historic Retreat and Conference Center
The Marywood Retreat and Conference Center is a 100-acre site situated on the eastern shore of the St. Johns River south of Jacksonville owned by the St. Augustine Catholic Diocese. The property features a historic building that acts as a small sanctuary and meeting rooms as the center of the property. A newly added conference center and renovated villas complete the commercial side of the property. A camp with bunkhouses and pavilion add to the amenities for other activities.
OLP Jacksonville worked with the Executive Director to develop an outdoor lighting design that accentuates the features of the property from the stacked stone walls of the sanctuary and main house to the beautiful grounds facing the river, the conference center and back patio and the 300+ ft dock and pavilion, villas and walking paths. The result is a riverfront destination for weddings, events and retreats second to none in the Jacksonville area.
