With years of experience in the outdoor industry and formal training and certifications in lighting design, Brandon and Kristen approach every project as designers, not installers. Their focus goes beyond adding lights. They carefully design lighting to enhance architecture, landscaping, and the overall nighttime experience, creating spaces that feel welcoming, secure, and intentional.

Together with their team, they have helped more than 2,100 families and businesses across the Houston area enjoy their outdoor spaces in a new way. One moment that continues to stand out involved a homeowner who added lighting around his backyard and pool. During the nighttime walkthrough, he shared that the lighting made him feel comfortable letting his daughters play outside after dark and enjoy the space as a family. Aalyssa Menefee is the friendly and organized voice behind the scenes at Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of North & West Houston, Katy, and Sugar Land. As our Customer Service and Office Administrator, she plays a key role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly while ensuring every client feels supported and well cared for from the first call to project completion.

With over five years of experience in customer service, scheduling, and office administration, Aalyssa brings strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a calm, professional approach to a fast-paced environment. She manages incoming calls, schedules consultations and service visits, assists with invoicing and documentation, and helps coordinate our team so projects stay on track.

Aalyssa’s background in hospitality, event coordination, and administrative support gives her a natural ability to multitask and anticipate client needs. She takes pride in being responsive, organized, and helpful, making sure homeowners and business clients always know what to expect next.

Mike Johnson serves as General Manager for Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of North & West Houston, Katy, and Sugar Land, bringing over 15 years of leadership experience in sales, operations, and customer service across highly competitive markets.

Throughout his career, Mike has built and led high-performing teams, managed multi-million-dollar operations, and focused relentlessly on customer satisfaction and long-term relationships. He is known for his ability to streamline operations, coach teams to perform at a high level, and ensure every customer experience aligns with the company’s standards of quality and care.

Before joining Outdoor Lighting Perspectives, Mike held senior leadership roles with well-known national brands, where he oversaw regional operations, managed P&L performance, and helped drive significant growth through disciplined execution and strong customer partnerships. His background gives him a sharp eye for detail, efficiency, and consistency - all critical in delivering a white-glove lighting experience for homeowners and commercial clients alike.
