Sometimes the best outdoor lighting design solutions are pure genius when necessity is the mother of invention. Here is a recent great example. This project is located in the Innisbrook neighborhood of Palm Harbor.
Our Outdoor Lighting Perspectives client has the good fortune of enjoying a magnificent pool, quite unlike anything we have ever seen. Featuring rolling golf course views through a tranquil lanai, the pool edge is graced with a stone water feature. Blended among the cascading waterfalls you will find stunning exotic plants, grasses and flowers, that add depth, texture and rich colors to balance the shimmering pool waters below.
OUT-OF-THE-BOX THINKING CAUSES THE PROVERBIAL LIGHT BULB TO SWITCH ON IN MY HEAD
The main goal of project was to have the pool waters cast a beautiful illuminated glow onto the stone and landscape border in the evenings. In order to achieve the effect the homeowners wanted we needed to create an innovative solution to ensure the illumination cast its glow in the right areas of the waterfall.
It was time to put our design expertise to the test and be true to our mantra of being a different kind of outdoor lighting company.
To achieve the desired effects, we came up with an idea that was not part of our usual design and installation process. Using our handcrafted, environmentally friendly outdoor fixtures, we created a modification using a one-of-a-kind “elbow” piece which we fabricated exclusively for this installation.

Now as the sun sets and the pool accent lighting comes to life, illuminated dancing waters drape the surrounding floral and stone scape, creating warm rippling effects that are truly breathtaking.
