Backing up to a freshwater lake in Tampa, Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Clearwater & Tampa Bay was commissioned to design and install an array of low voltage LED exterior lighting fixtures to illuminate the dock of this waterside residence.
Being water enthusiasts, this family originally hired Robert van der Putten’s team of certified lighting designers and installers to create a stunning halo of warm custom dock lighting ensuring easy and safe navigation to and from the fresh waters well into the evening.
Using integrated flush mount dock lighting on the structure reaching out into the lake some years ago, the illumination design plan also focused on adding a lovely ambiance to the entire deck area.
With the passage of time and coming to realize the importance of the extended beauty and enjoyment of their waterfront outdoor lighting display, the family decided to add on to their custom dock lighting system in a rather unique and ultimately magical way. How, you ask?
Outdoor Lighting Perspectives returned to this residence this past week to install additional lighting enabling the homeowner to see into the water from the dock to enjoy the beauty of the fish and aquatic lifeforms near the dock – hence, more is more.
The focus of this extended waterside illumination plan was to highlight areas adjacent to the dock using dazzling effects to complement and highlight the dancing evening views at the dock shore.
In addition, to further extend the spread of soft evening illumination, pagoda lights – provided by the homeowner – were installed along the beach area on the sea wall and retaining wall.
This is important to note as coastal outdoor lighting experts can install and service lighting that is provided by the homeowner, as well as their custom, high-quality fixtures.
