Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Kansas City is excited to announce that we were recently selected as a 2016 Remodel of the Year Award winner for best exterior element by NARI, the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.
NARI Contractors were honored by the Kansas City chapter for their craftsmanship, professionalism and a commitment to excellence in remodeling.
John Bruce, owner and outdoor lighting designer, was honored to receive the award. “To be selected by NARI for this award is truly an honor,” expressed Mr. Bruce. “The winning projects represent some of the highest quality projects in Kansas City and to be included in that group and selected by a group of my peers means a lot to me and our entire Outdoor Lighting Perspectives team.”
The award winning outdoor architectural and landscape lighting project featured LED illumination of three house faces on a recently renovated Kansas City home. The OLP team of designers walked the property to view the traditional brick facade from all angles to make sure its curb appeal was maximized.
Warm LED architectural lighting was installed to bring beauty and depth to the property at night. Stunning handcrafted copper and brass outdoor lighting fixtures, which blend in with the natural outdoor environment, were positioned at the ground and elevated balconies casting an inviting glow onto the exterior façade.
“When we discussed LED, the homeowners were concerned about the light color,” explained Mr. Bruce. “We were able to demonstrate to the homeowners that today’s LED bulbs provide a warm white color that is both inviting and aesthetically pleasing. The illumination of the property took the beauty of the home that is seen during the day and created a masterpiece when the sun goes down.”
